Piers and Gideon's father.

Piers and Gideon's mother. Axton's godmother. Younger sister of Marquis/General von Schwert

Prince Emil

The Emperor Emeritus' youngest brother and chairman of the Imperial Commerce Commission. Piers gets his second name from him.

Princess Vivian

Prince Emil's wife and the Dean of Mathematics at Universite. Likes to shop and into fashion.

General von Schwert

The current Marquis von Schwert, but due to his time away, his father is still acting as the Marquis. He is better known as General von Schwert and is considered the best swordsman in the empire.

Cafe Fortuna

Cafe Fortuna is a cafe in an ivy-covered brick building, in a small side street next to the main plaza just outside of Lycee du Soleil. It is run by a small family, but is owned by Piers.

Mama J

Madam Lillian Jager runs the cafe with her sons and their families. She is also Pier's former nanny.

Tobias

Tobias Jager is Mama J's eldest child. He can both cook and be a barista, but prefers being out in the counter, making coffee for guests.

Elias

Elias Jager is Mama J's second child and is the main cook of the cafe.

Lucas

Lucas is Mama J's youngest child and while he works part time at the cafe, he is a patisserie student. He is responsible for the cafe's desserts.

Daybreak Garden

Daybreak Garden is a private marketplace and artisan workshop collective in the twelfth district. It's clients are limited to specific guild members and the Guevera family, as the land its on is ancestral Guevera property and so the family essentially owns it.

Old da Silva

A old leather worker who is a favorite for all sorts of leather goods and accessories from weapons holsters to boots.

Armando

Armando St. John is the third generation owner of a shop that designs, makes, and sells luxury and high end clothing for outdoorsmen.
Csilla - Wife

Istvan - Baby Boy, also Sebastian's godson.

Manager Vale

The general manager of Daybreak Garden and who Tori goes to for hiring guards.

Lions Gate

Tori, Henrik, and Ilyana's little company. It consists of two small store fronts in different parts of the city and contracts a small group of artisans to make their products in the city.

Madam Midstrom

Madam Midstrom owns the Midstrom workshop with her husband and they are the main artisans for Lions Gate.

Midstrom

Madam Midstrom's husband who is a master tailor and does the bulk of making patterns based on Tori's doodles.

Helga Midstrom

The Midstrom's widowed daughter; her late husband married into the family but died young. She makes and adjusts the sample pieces.

The manager of Lions Gate East in the eigth district.
